Water and trail snacks will be available at the beginning of the hike, and at the end, along with your meal at J.D. State Park.

All registered participants receive an event shirt, meal, support and a ride back from J.D. State Park.

Trail Conditions & Supplies

The hike will have a leader - however, feel free to go at your own pace. Hike leader will be making sure everyone gets through the trail.

Portions of the trail area challenging, requiring climbing through cypress knees and forest ferns.

There is a water crossing of the Loxahatchee River - hikers will ford the river since it is so low. Hikers may choose to take boots off for the fording.

The trail is a portion of the Florida Trail Association's "Ocean To Lake" spur, off of the Florida Trail. The trail is marked with orange blazes on trees and objects. Watch for the orange blaze. On trails that are not obvious, you should be able to stand at one blaze, and see the next on ahead. Two marks means a change in direction.

On-site registration is $25.00
